Toll Free Messaging Notification and OTP Text Opt-In

Corporate regulatory requirements dictate that we comply with localized country level regulations as relates to our policy regarding toll free messaging and one-time password (OTP) text messaging on our platform. OTP is a secure method of authentication that sends a unique one- time code to a member's phone via SMS to verify their identify.

It is NOT permissable to have a one-time password authentication requirement upon signup, and then use that original sign-up as the basis for an implicit consent for future text messaging communication with end users. If a business permits toll free text message communication with its customer base, that feature must be turned OFF by default, with an option for customers to opt-in, if they so choose.
